Hey everyone,

If we can get a ballroom at the hotel, I will offer my DJ services for free! I specialize in 50's sock hops. I assure you, I will make it lots of fun. All I need is a room, a sturdy table and power. I will bring all my equipment and spin the tunes from the 50s and early 60s. We can have a bubble gum blowing contest, hula-hoop contest, do the stroll and the hand-jive. Everyone can dress up in their favorite 50s outfit. Can anyone dress up like a car-hop waitress including roller skates?? Poodle skirts are good too - but only the ladies please.

Let me know what you all think so I can reserve a room to sleep in Saturday night. Does anyone know if the hotel will "give" us a dance room since we are blocking a lot of rooms?

I only live about a half hour away, so I'll definitely be there... send me a reminder if you can, I have a tendency to forget dates... (god, am I getting old...) LOL!!!

 

Any rooms left? Just coming into this family and thought this would be a great way to get outa town!! (Like I need an excuse! ) Besides..maybe I can talk Dave into a York side trip....

I can't wait I'll be going up on 1/21 to talk with some of the dealers to see what they can do or will do for us.
I'm also stopping in harrissburg on the 16th before I come up for the fire exop

thanks for the idea i will pass it on how ppl are we expecting if we get a ballroom that night my guy is offering to set up in there so lets work this out any other ideas. how many rooms are left so i can get him one as well

 

I will check on the rooms today 1/14/08. I was thinking of doing a trip to York on Friday afternoon and Battlefield HD. Anybody else want to go?

 

I'm in!! That is if I can get up there early enuf Fri am..maybe if I hook up a nitros sys I can beat traffic...hmm....
