hey John. I'm up for either place as long as dates are fine,I was thinking the spring, before people get busy with summer stuff

 

I guess I was assuming that this would be sooner than later since people have other things popping up that keep them from attending the meetups that are only a few weeks away, let alone a few months. If we're talking that far away, i won't concern myself with it just yet.

 

Well, I keep the poll open until Wednesday. How about some suggestions on the time we would like to meet. I'll throw in May or Sept.

"Doc Wylie" is regimental surgeon of the 155th NY Volunteer Infantry, so if G'burg is the site I'll be happy to set up my field hospital out of the back of the HHR and will amputate any limb at a discount. Leeching and blood letting similarly low-priced.

As it stands now Gettysburg looks to be the location. How about staying at The General Lee Comfort Inn, right near the battle field.

 

looks like I'll be seeing you in Gettysburg,not familiar with the area,so whoever is can make some suggestions, & next I guess would be the date..the weekend of May 16&17 would be my suggestion

 

My vote is for May as well. The weather in south-central PA should be fine and it's still early enough to avoid the summer vacation crush.
