I moved from Nassau County to the Hudson River Valley in '98 to escape the taxes. The taxes ended up following me. Still love the beaches (Robert Moses, Jones Beach & Ocean Pkwy cruises) when I visit. Anyone remember the Oak Beach Inn?

I live in Howard Beach. Used to live in Oceanside 'till divorce. I used to hang out in the OBI in my 20s (I'm 54). Gone now, the town finally got rid of it! I hang with my cousin in Deer Park on weekends when he is not on tour with his camera. All over LI with The Long Island Garden Railway Club. Needed the HHR to transport my model trains because of their size.
