Hey Guys,
While being around 14th street I noticed a daytona blue HHR with custom Yankees plates driving around. I had a camara but I did not have time to take a picture.

We have to come up with a flyer or something to hand out to other HHR's we see (both on a national and local level).
The HHR is still not a widely recognized car. Last Tuesday I was talking with someone who is a car enthusiast but never heard of nor saw one before.

Oh well, give it time. At least they know the PT, so perhaps after five years of market penetration folks will recognize our Chevy
At the car show last Monday, folks came up and said they had heard of the HHR but had not seen one.
A couple of local greasers came up and volunteered to chop it
Actually they were all about the HHR. They loved the four cyl economy with the retro look and feel it is a better platform than the PT to work on.
There was a PT at the show done up with more stuff than the Whitney catalogue! Picture below. The greasers dismissed it as being "All billet" Which in their lingo I assume means bolt on and bad. I did like the pivot style doors which actually worked as regular doors too. But the PT was most definitely a show car bling machine, not a daily driver.

Back to the HHR:
The local dealers sell all they get, so I wonder where they are dissapearing to? I did see a grey one while rounding a corner in New London last night, so I know they are out there.
THere are some business card templates floating around the forums, or you can make your own for the HHR. I plan on getting some brochures from the dealer with my sales guy's card and giving them out when they come up to me at the car show. I also plan on letting them know about these forums and this community. I know I feel a lot better about owning the HHR than the Vibe we had and one reason is this forum. I still have to place the ChevyHHR.net sticker on the car. I'm figuring the drivers rear side window.
Well, I gotta go now to the Chevy dealer and get the Mudflaps installed. They were part of the deal with the car and they finally came in.
The regional runs that guys are putting on will help raise awareness and everyone can carry flyers or business cards with this site on them, because this is such a great place for people to come and learn...Also hit your local cruise nights and shows with flyers, you can whip something up on a computer really quickly, I am not any good with photoshop so I had to so a couple of different things, but if you are blessed with photoshop abilities you can go crazy...
One of my friends is in an Avlanche Owners group and they have a practice they call Tagging. On their site is a PDF that the membes can download and print to business card stock. Print one page of them and keep them in your vehicle. That way you have something to give the people you talk to, or you can slip it under a wiper.
The advantage of a businesss card size vs full size fliers is that people tend to toss a full piece of paper. But put a business card in their pocket or purse, then find it again when they are near a computer. $-)
If someone wants to desing the graphic I can put it in a pdf format that will print on most business card stock and put a link up to it.

Great ideas! Time to get to wok in PS. I'm a picture guy, but my secretary is a graphics master. Lots of good ideas from her. I'll have to run this by her.
I like your lnks section. good mods!
Where is the Corsa exhaust tip from? It looks nice.
Also, the flag pole is a parde stopper!
Way cool!
Hey folks...here's a couple links for ya that are here on the site.
Free Business Cards
chevyhhr.net flyer (I threw this together) If you want it in .doc form, PM me with your email address and I'll send it along. File too big to post on the forum. I'm printing mine out in grayscale since I'll be photocopying them anyway.
Hope this helps...or at least gives you some ideas.

Way cool!Corsa Wife used to work @ a chevy dealership. The parts manager got it accidenatly when he ordered another one. I got it from them rather than them sending it back and had a friend in the body shop do the cutting and welding to get it on.
Flag Pole I got this Idea from the Avalanche guys, some of those guys have 3 flags @ a time flying. We went to one of their get togethers in the beginning of this year and to see a line of 30 of the same vehicle going down the road w/ some of them flying flags, its not a parrade stopper, that is a parrade itself.
