I need to know whos gonna show up for this event. The date again is June 28@ about 9am. I wouldPla really like to see a good turnout for the show. Please let me know if your coming or not so I can tell the dealership.

 

May I make a suggestion: See if you could get a local DJ to do the event. Music and a MC adds to the festivities.

 

I'm calling off the car show due to poor response and the g2g in maryland on the same date. To anyone that was going to come, I'm sorry, head down to Maryland and have a blast.

On July 12 the dealership is having a meet. Its a GTO/HHR show. There will be a BBQ and music. If anyone wants to show, come on down. The 28th was bad anyway because they are having a EFI show at Englishtown that I want to go to.

 

that sounds good,the 28th ends up no good for me too,I think I have to go to a b-day party. I suggest starting a new thread like dealer show rescheduled,incase peeps saw this was canceled,they might not look again

i am not a radio dj, but i am a stadium announcer for high school, and for American Legion Baseball, I also dj several events a year from 5k runs, an average of 8 various car shows a year which 4 of those car shows a year i do at a local ford dealership. one of the General managers gets several items from some of his clientel to donate door prizes, the dealership gives away oil change coupons to parts discounts, the dealership also cooks up hot dogs and furnishes sodas, water....just had one 2 weekends ago they did a benefit, one of the few that they charge to show your car, but it raised money for the city emergency relief, had over 70 different vehicles there, the others they ask for can goods, another they had the local pet adoption there showing dogs and cats to adopt.
I my self play music and announce different sponsors and give away the door prizes. and yes have a hot dog...
Last year Chip Foose from overhauling was there for autographs and i got to dj that show. But it always is great to have some music in the background for the atmosphere.
But its also nice to have a dealership to back on giveaways,
