Hello from my HHR!

Why is it that NY/Queens/LIers don't seem to look at other HHRs on the road and at least wave, toot, or give a middle finger salute? I know we are all busy going to or from work but I have given up saying "Hi" to my fellow HHR NY/LIers. I get more action from passing PT Crusers looking at me... Please restore the faith and just say hello fellow HHRs!

I'd just be happy to see another HHR among all of the Asian mfg cars on the road up here in Orange County. HHRs are non-existent here.

I live in Manhattan and only drive on weekends, and I hardly ever see any HHR's in this area. I can drive upstate, Long Island, CT, NJ, etc., and might see one or two all day. And those few I see don't seem to pay any attention to my HHR.

I travel for business all over the eastern US and see tons of HHR's in other cities outside of this area.

I think it must be because here within Manh/Queens/West LI everyone seems to be in such a rush to get somewhere no one seems to slow down and "smell the HHRs" or was it roses? I love my HHR and have seen many others. I guess our New York State of mind in the metro area is kinda rushed... I used to get attention with my 84 Olds Delta 88 Royal Broughm 2 door though. People never cut in front of me or tried to pass me, guess they were afraid of a 2 ton chunk of steel playing bumper cars with them. I will have to post picks of the Olds in my area tonight. It's the car I traded in CFC for the HHR.

I've given up on waving to other HHR drivers. I'm up around Syracuse and the only responses I get are 1 finger salutes or funny looks. With all the people flipping me off I thought I was on LI

IF, and that's IF, they put their turn signal on, that is justification enough to change lanes, regardless if they looked or if there is even room. You have to be a very defensive driver around here.

So that was you guys I gave the finger to!

Posting some snow pics in the gallery-Long Island snow, the kids thought it was great, I think I'm having a heart attack from shoveling out me & my elderly neighbors...
