Welcome from Broadway, Warren County

 

I'm originally from Jersey (small town of Jamesburg) and after 17 years I'm going/coming back. I'll be living in Robbinsville (near McGuire AFB) and currently have an 06 2LT, but will be upgrading to an SS by the end of the year. I'm looking forward to being able to go back to Raceway Park and crusing wherever on the weekends.

If you'll be living near mcguire, why don't you go to Atco? Its closer and a much nicer track. Englishtown may have the national event atmosphere, but the other tracks in NJ make you feel much safer.

 

If your speaking of the Warren County Fair, I went last week. If your speaking of the Sussex County Farm and Horse Show, probably Friday.

 

Yeah, I was.. we went today, saw a silver HHR pulling out around the same time we were. The mud bog was disappointing. We'll probably check out sussex next week, I haven't been there in years.

 

Honestly, I always seem to forget about Atco. I grew up 10 minutes from Englishtown (could hear the cars running from our back yard). The last time I raced at E-town (it was early 90's) it was always very crowded...I think at that time, Atco was an IHRA track.

On a side note, does anyone have any experience with Bob McGuire Chevy? I bought a crate engine from them a while back, but it was through the garage I worked at. I'm looking for a dealership with good customer service and some kind of idea when it comes to the performance side of the deal.

I just wanted to say hello. I just picked up my HHS SS two days ago and love it. While I don't live in North Jersey like the rest of you; I do commute there everyday. I work in West Paterson which between Budd Lake and Paramus, just off of Rt 80.
