Not a lot of performance yet but it's getting there. There are a few choices for intakes; no turbo/supercharger yet; some can be "tuned"

Do you have the 2.2 or 2.4?

from another Sunburst Orange owner. I've had mine a little over 18 months and I love it. Look forward to getting to know more about you and your new HHR. And of course...we need pictures too.

The welcome picture requesting commando squads should be along shortly.

Gotcha.

There are intakes available. Other than that, most of what people are doing is actually made for the Cobalts; headers, things like that.

If you have a later run 2.2, it can be tuned. I have the 2.4 but you should get similar gains. They were able to change shift points, move rev limiter, fuel mixtrure, etc......My best guess is that I gained about 20hp. I did also have mine tuned to run 93 octane so I've lost at least 5 mpg's. I had my tune done by Tune Time, a supporting vendor here.

Right now, without changing out a lot of parts, I think the tune is the most bang for the bucks when it comes to performance.

I was gonna get a 2.2 at first too because I was buying for fuel economy. Thankfully the salesman pointed out that both motors were rated the same.
