Niagara Falls M&G/mini GTG - June 23rd
Little update on this ... my wife is going to snag us some GM Tonawanda swag (little stuff) for this GTG. I've got some swag from my workplace (strategically altered to our purposes) that I'd like to give out as well.
Hope to have a fun time with all of y'all on the 23rd.
Oh, and just an aside, my wife is very enthusiastic about the Ducks potentially clinching on Wednesday.

Souns like a plan. We could cross over to Goat Island and park at the main parking lot (cost = $10 per car, same as the lots near the Rainbow Bridge). That affords easy access to good viewing spots on the American side for photo ops plus there's a restaurant right there. There's also a trolley-type bus that cruises around the park.
If we get lucky we might find an unattended PT Cruiser to hoist over the Falls.
(On second thought, let's forget that option... I think it might be a Federal offense or something.)

Myself and my wife, we've never taken the trolleys around the park, most of the time we've just walked the place (when it's warm enough and not windy as hell). Of course she being the engineer, her favorite part of the park is the statue of Tesla by the entrance to the Cave of the Winds.
Yeah, you're right. Dropping a PT into the water would be a no-no. Besides, it might hang up on the rocks like that old rusty barge and end up being viewed for the next 100 years (like the old rusty barge).
Anyway...I've driven by that statue of Tesla many times. I work in Niagara Falls and on my lunch hour often drive over to the parking lot at the far end of Goat Island (where to date they haven't started the summer time parking fee) and relax with a fine cigar from Smokin' Joe's. Niagara Falls State Park is kind of a well-kept secret from locals it seems.
