ok then, thanks for listening. I was a member of VWVORTEX and that was something they did. they had a classified for the board but also a classified for the regions. you could post adds in both of them. im sure server space is a concern. i spent a couple hours going through the classifieds and it could just be me being picky but there was alot of adds that had stuff sold but are still active threads, along with wanted and for sale in the same area. I would get excited for a thread and then realize it was someone looking for a part. Im new to the board so i wouldnt pay to much attention to me. lol

I just start with "recent topics" then "today's post" then "subscribed threads". And then mumble bad things about CCS after they make me read a bunch of threads that I thought had been put to bed. I hate the "social thread bump".

We pay attention to every member here, and server space isn't a problem, trust me.

I've been looking for ideas to give our Regional forums a kick in the tail, as have our owners.

So nothing is beyond consideration.

People not closing their threads in the classifieds is a huge problem, if somebody ever gets the time for weeding.................. and a few more ............

But, there is the SEARCH tool at the top that may make scrolling a little easier.

I've been working on the weeding, and it's time to probably crack down on the time limits for open ads.
