U lucky Boston Celtics fans!!!!

cannot believe you guys will have garnett, pierce, and allen. thats a killer combo. lets see who they keep in the trade, but i would like to see green eventually mature, he used to be a customer of mine when i worked in Houston.

The Celts will need a lot more than that to help them out. In case nobody has realized, they haven't played good ball since Ainge, McHale, Parrish, and Bird retired. I stopped watching years ago. Same with the Broons (Bruins) hockey team. They just ain't worth watching. Now....how about them 'Sox! And the Pats are starting to look like they will have a really great lineup this season.

I stopped going to Red Sox games years ago since EVERY time I went they lost. I stop going, the curse was lifted

I'm waiting for Goose to chime in any time now

BTW - It's okay to watch the 'Sox on tv. Sit back, relax, a snack and a cold Sam's by your side, the remote in your hand in case they start to lose and Emeril starts to look good. And it's a hell of a lot less expensive!

What's a Sam's?? Would that be a Samuel Adams?

Don't laugh at elders. We remember great sporting events (The Impossible Dream 1967).....back when athletes were more about sport, less about money.

those were the times, when players played the game for pride, not because someone's writing them a big fat check.
