Ok, this is the G2G everyone has been asking about ??

From all the reports I've received September 12, 2009 looks to be the best date to get together.................
Last Tuesday Don B and I took a road trip East of here to check out several new locations that we thought would be best for the gang. The first place there were parking problems, we would have to pay to park a block or so away.
The second place has pleanty of FREE parking. There is also a patio that we can park right next to while we do what we do best "EAT". The place is a 50's style dinner Our HHR's will fit right in. The place is called TOM WAHL'S located on RT 5 & 20 in Avon NY. Zip code 14414 if you want to do a mapquest search ????
We thought we would meet there at 1:30 PM. Those travling from Buffalo area we will meet at the Clarence Flea Market parking lot out front by the road at high noon (12:00 PM). It's an easy stright drive on RT 5 going east, I checked the mileage and found it to be 56 miles.
Now for those coming from the east of Avon Tom's is about 3 miles from the 390 RT 5 exit heading West. You can't miss it as the front of the buliding is almost curb side on the LEFT.

Sounds like fun, I am scheduled to be on vacation then. Count the wife and I in.

 

We should be able to make it that day. Thanks for taking the initiative to organize this, Brian and Don. It sounds like the perfect place.

A Wahlburger at Tom Wahl's... One of those things I miss from upstate NY since moving to the hurricane state. I did stop in and had one while I was in upstate in July.

 

I'm in, it works since I'm not out of state.

Now if you'll excuse me, my right leg feels like a rubber band after driving to and from Detroit in a day on Saturday ...

 

Ouch, been there done that. Did you go across Canada? Looking forward to meeting the local members. I hope you bring Stacy, It will be good to see her again. We can talk about the "good old days" sigh.....

 

May be good for us. Will know more this weekend.

 

Unfortunately, Stacey's at her new workplace in Texas, so she won't be able to come.

 

I should be able to make it on Sep. 12th. I will know for sure in the next day or two.
