this should give you a good idea, I have posted this SS before it is sad that I own it now. Doug Shipman ordered it new and pampered it till His death, I heard it was at the local dealer, had to go save it , as you can see one of Doug's deal was to clean the tip after each drive....I have continued the lunacy as a tribute to my buddy...:)
We have not seen another aqua in the area, 5 blkss panels...haha
Last time we met, when He found out chevy did make a panel ss, if he knew, it would have been panel too.....The black one is mine, and that was the only hhr he ever wanted to sit in.......obviously the rest were inferior..:
Still haven't decided what to do with it so we named it "Dougie"...and I'm driving it less than He did......
That young fella there Alexis was our youngest member, meeting the oldest....it was all hhr talk, like they were brothers from birth...
Honestly 8 years later....... I'm still an SSfan

Just an add-on to this thread: I live in the Coos Bay area, and boy howdy, we have many HHRs! I obtained mine at the end of last year, but there's a local office supply business which has several HHRs (not panels, if I recall correctly...). They upgraded from PT Cruisers if I'm not mistaken!
But PLENTY of individuals in this area also own HHRs. I drive by two parked in the driveway just on my way to work every day. I don't know what Ken Ware Chevrolet in North Bend did, but they apparently did it very well.
That, and the cars LAST!

good to see you’re still around.
still got mine, though had to replace pretty much everything in the suspension at 80k miles, and still have an intermittent rough running motor.
so not a fan on longevity but when it works I still love driving it!
i haven’t seen the other west side of portland red SS in while
