2011 New York Auto Show Pics

This year`s show had a primary focus on efficiency. Many electrics, hybrids and micros. These pics were mainly of GM`s offerings, which would be of interest to the group, but a couple of exotics were thrown in for interest (BMW electric; Porsche hybrid; Bentley race car; etc). There is also some pics of the new Malibu which had its debut at this show as well as the "new" Chevy Sonic. A couple of concepts are also shown. You may not see them all, because this site only lets you post 15. I wanted to share 32 of them. If you want to see the rest, go to Chevytruckworld.com, because they let you share all your pics with the members... I also posted all 32 on Chevytalk and GMInsidenews.com. Here's a direct link to a thread with the full amount of the pics. http://chevytruckworld.tenmagazines.....asp?id=211599

The new Malibu looks pretty nice. It appears to have LED tail lights like all the new Dodges do. And I guess the Sonic doesn't seem too bad either. That Cadillac "Egg" car makes me throw up in my mouth a little. I don't know why on Earth anyone would drive something as ugly as that.

Thanks! We saw none of this at the Denver auto show. I like the Cad urban concept.

The Caddy Race Car has me thinking they are going for the Partridge Family demographic.

That style is based on the works of Piet Mondrian:

Thought I would put a nearly worthless art history degree to good use

Will be reserved for the LTZ designation. Expect regular taillights for all the other bu's

New Malibu is a big improvement, the current one was looking old a week after it debuted. Hybrids and plug-ins should be reserved for the golf course.
