The wheel well is overrated- you really can just remove 3-4 of the bolts that hold it on, pull it a little out of the way and get your hand in there, I've done it twice already to replace the 194 bulbs that go in there, no big deal-

the plugs that held my wheel well liner in were in there good, really good. I fought it with a screwdriver to mangle one of them out. Then i went over to autozone, got the tool that is made to do it with a little notch out of it and got the rest of them out easier. I keep it in the car now in case i eve needed to get in there on the road, burnt out light etc.

But even then, with the liner half undone, it's still not "easy, and i have pretty small hands.

Thanks for your reply in both of the threads. I may just try window tint and see how it goes.

Yeah, I would say it is a poor design, but we have to live with it either way... And I do agree, my buddy used to have one of those pullers and it makes life much, much easier!

Hope it goes well for you. I was going to take process pics, but i only have 2 hands, and didn't want to try and activate the remote with my nose or something like that. I am used to wrapping things in vinyl so it was easy, but after you get the first one, you'll get the hang of it.

I tried the wet application on one of them, just to see... didn't go so hot, took it off, dried everything and started over.

Don't know if this was for the OP or me. but thanks for both of us Ha.

I got them from Race and Street (a supporting vendor here) for $212 shipped after their 15% off coupon. Pricey indeed but a mod I had been wanting to do for awhile so I pulled the trigger. Now my new camera lens has to wait longer...

Thanks, actually, just got them done, everything went great! The hardest part was trimming the edges, but I got it so that they shouldn't peel up (I hope) I'll put up pics in a few days after I get my black LED tails on (same deal as you from RAS)- we need pics of yours too!

Sweet! cant wait to see pics of your new smoked out lenses and led tails. I might have some time next weekend to tint the marker lights, but we are getting snow again this week so it looks like all of this will be put on hold again.

just the couple quick shots on the first page of this thread. Made it look all pretty Saturday, then it rained yesterday (luckily the hhr stayed inside), and today the fog is so thick i can barely see out. I don't think anymore photos will be happening for awhile.
