I haven't had my HHR for over 10 months, I'd just washed it for the chili cook-off, and the sun was out.............so I thought I'd take a few pics.

Looks great, as always.
However, you might want to look into mounting a lower grille, that intercooler is probably mighty costly.

I'd challenge anyone to show me a way to add a lower grill to my car.

I understand what you're saying, but if you saw it you'd see that with out additional major mods, it just ain't gonna happen. And anyway in all my time spent on HHR forums I can honestly only remember TWO people having to replace anything from a rock, and one of them just happened. For me, the risk is faily low, and the difficulty is very high. I'm not saying it can't happen but with my bumper, it would require major work.

Besides, if a rock actually made it through the intercooler, you probably won't lose enough pressure that the turbo can't make up until you can get it repaired.

simple answer is oversize the lower grille..(91 97 honda)lower grilles are a shade bigger(i just looked)or even a neon lower grille would probably cover the hole..3m tape..but like you said why bother(but you did challenge me)car looks great..nice body mods..pipes both sides??too many windows for me but over-all a show winner for sure..looks good..how was the chilli???

WOW! I don't even recognize part of that front!! Can you tell me in language I would understand what you changed, and what an intercooler is? Is that to keep the engine cool or like a supercharger or what?

And I am SOOO stupid - I was going to tell you what a great lower grill you had!! My fist look was that it was some sort of billit horizontal lines with trim pieces. See, we New York guys are sort of meat and potatoes - we don't often get to see the high-priced spread. Looks really sharp!

Sorry, but that is NOT a simple answer. I have a custom bumper which required the frame to be shortened for the original install. So there3 would have to be extensive modifications to make a stock bumper work again or to fab a completely new bumper.

Yes I do have dual outlets on both sides.

The chili was great!

It is part of the turbo system which was installed.
