Well, I bit the bullet! KMart had Mothers clay bar kits on clearance for $9, so I bought what they had...no, one wasn't enough for me!!!

Here are the results! The pictures just don't do it justice! The metallic flake just sparkles in the sun!!!





Glass smooth!


Even the chrome mirror dazzles! (Not bad considering it did have tar bits on it!)



Like I said, the pictures just don't do it justice! I can't believe I've never done this to any of my cars before!!! I'll have to do it to the other ones as well!!!!!

Yep, I just used the cleaner wax that came with it...

Since it had no wax left on it, I'll probably do another coat in a week or two...

 

You can also use it on the windows!

 

That's what someone told me! I wasn't really sure since you can't wax it after...so I didn't. Maybe another time.

 

dang, i want one that that price. I am going to get one and do it soon, once it is warm enough, and it's usually $16 here for the kit... Might have to check our Kmart, although that stuff is usually clearanced by store, not all over...

 

Josh, you've got a black beauty like I do and I gotta say--WOW, what a difference it makes to clay it! I used Meguiar's kit. I was gentle around the pinstripes and they just pop out now, but over all, it will make the black just all glossy and sparkle.

It rained () last night and just a wipe down this morning was all I needed to make it look great again.

Like Eric, I am a convert to the clay!
