We get everything inspected.......wheels lights, glass, and emissions. The funny thing is that they have the right to test anything you may have added such as fogs, etc. And we get to do this every year. The comforting thing is that they jack your front end and check to make sure that everything is stable. All this for a measly 29 bucks (most of which goes back to the state to line someone's pockets)

well, we got our windows tinted at 35% and didn't like the way it looked. luckily the tint developed some kind of cloudiness between it and the glass so we got to change to 20% for free since they had to redo it because of the cloudiness. 20% looks much better too. now we just have to keep our eyes open for Wayne County Sherrifs since they seem to like tint offenders more than speeders or wreckless drivers.

LMAO. When you see a cop do you just roll your windows down or what?

That's what I do when I have to drive through Fairport,NY. I usually try and avoid there like a plague. Every cop of their force carries a tint and db meter. They are notorious for tint and stereo tickets. It is a small police force in a middle to upperclass suburb so the police don't have much anything better to do than take your money for small offences and hassle suburban want to be thugs.

I roll the windows down asap. it doesn't matter if its winter or raining or whatever. its easier to do a quick wipe of the door panel(if its snowing or raining) than it is to take a $70.00 hit in the wallet.

and if by chance I still get pulled over in the rain/snow I'll usually park right at a nice large puddle so the cop has the get splashed a time or 2. its just my little payback.

Yup. No more than 70% tint is allowed on the front windows in NY, just like it came from the factory. I just paid my tint ticket. It was a $50 fine with a $35 surcharge. Most cops in my area seem to not care about tint though so you probably won't even get stopped.
