Flint Photoshoot

Yes, I know I just uploaded shots from another shot two days ago, but yesterday was SO GORGEOUS! Being a photographer, I couldn't resist. This time I had to go to school in Flint yesterday, so I stopped downtown and took a couple of shots. No, downtown Flint is not that dangerous. It's great for pictures. Michael Moore is the devil. Flint is not like he portrayed it in Roger and Me!

This picture was taken from the second floor window at school:

I beg to differ on this completely. All depends on where you are, but yes, downtown Flint is dangerous. Even worse if you go there at night.

But i do agree that Michael Moore is an idiot. In his article in Rolling Stone, he talks about my town. Talks about the many rolling hills in the farmland and how he stopped to talk to a local overweight man at the dunkin donuts.... Don't know if he has looked in a mirror lately or if he was just talking to himself at the dunkin donuts in a shiny reflective surface.

My mom knows Moore though, went to highshcool with him. She never liked him either.

No way no how! I'm talking right downtown, like around Saginaw street. A few blocks, yep! Not downtown though by U of M. It's changed quite a bit in the last few years. I think the college has done a lot of good. The area's becoming quite a college area now. Lots of young people, and lots of businesses are now staying open late to accommodate them.

HA! One can only hope!

One of the worst times was when I was driving to my boss' house because he had taken his wife's keys. I took a wrong turn and got lost, and then pretty much in the middle of downtown flint i was all of the sudden on a dirt road, which didn't make sense at all, it was probably one of the worst parts I have been in. I got the hell out of there.
