Red face Got my pistol today.. (pics included)

So .. I sold my Ruger P85 to a good friend who really liked it ..
I have been looking around for another pistol for a week or two now..
Nothing has really caught my eye, and i've really wanted to just
save the money.. SO i talked to my dad about it and he agreed
i should just save my money and get me a nice new pistol for
my 21st birthday next year.. With that said.. He offered to let
me "have/borrow" his gun how ever long i want..
and i like it alot.. So thanks to all of you
who commented on my "opinions on concealed weapons" .. ill
be getting my own pistol next summer i recon along with a CHL.

Here's the gun .. Taurus .38spl

Paul, what a deal! Nice "freebie" gun to use until you can save and get one of your own.
Your Dad must be a heck of a guy!
It may not be everyones concept of the ideal carry gun, but is very adequate for protection. Looks small and light enough to carry (once you get your permit)

It sure hasn't been shot much, there are barley any scratches on the cylinder between the stop grooves. If it had been shot a lot, I would think those would be more pronounced.

It's had it's share of shooting.. He just took very good care of it, kept it clean ..

Yeah, it is light enough and compact enough that i could carry it when i turn 21, if
i havent found another gun i want to buy by then ..

Now I believe that came from a little band from the south, very political song actually. I could not agree more with the Van Zants on this one! Todd (Uma)
