Bigger memory card. Buy the highest class rating you can.

-Google the model, read some reviews, if you like what you read and it fits your budget then make a decision. If your going to be shooting the heck out of it then the D60 is not what your looking for; they're not considered work horses. Good luck!!

i second that. Just ordered from them yesterday... I find that I go to Adorama more because they offer free shipping on so many items. I needed a polarizer, and i don't really want to pay an extra $5 to ship a filter. Adorama had the same one BH did, for 40 cents more, but shipped free. And their free shipping is fast. I;ve gotten stuff in 2 days before.

For the original poster. Can't tell if that is a good deal or not, I don't know nikon that well, sorry. But go with what others have said and upgrade the memory card. Not only is 1gb tiny, but it is probably some generic brand. Get a sandisc Ultra II or extreme III (20mb or 30mb speed). Fantastic card. Pricey, but worth it.

I agree, B&H or Adorama. I've ordered camera equipment from both, and some electronics from B&H. Both awesome companies to deal with.

That price you're quoting seems too good to be true. Beware of the "NY camera store" scams. This blog post is a little older but still relevant: http://thomashawk.com/2005/11/pricer...era-store.html

Thanks everyone for the advise! I'm not planning on doing a ton of shooting, I'm just sick of the crap my little $79 kodak is producing. Friend of mine has a Nikon D90 and it puts out really good pictures in my opinion but it is just a little out of my price range. Just want something that can take good quality pictures of my son and not look back on the lcd screen and see a blur. Also need something that will shoot some high quality pictures of my ride for all of you to look at.
