I'm quite sure this is a bbq'd hhr in the picture. About a mile or so from my in-laws

One I saw at a jazz festival here. "BOSS" stands for "Better Oportunities For Single Soldiers".

HHR as a wedding car. Notice the white buns and the roses.

I went on a pretty good road trip last weekend, from Hawesville, Kentucky to Escanaba, Michigan (in the Upper Peninsula).

I left Thursday morning, stayed in Rockford, Illinois that night, and finished the trip Friday. The trip home began Sunday afternoon, back to Rockford, then home Monday.

It was 1706 miles round trip, with a good mix of Interstate and Secondary Roads.

Naturally, I kept an eye out for HHR's. From my house to Escanaba, I saw 23 HHR's. Of them, 13 had logo's of some sort, and were obviously company cars, 4 were panels, and in the parking lot of the Escanaba Sheriff's department, I saw the only SS of the whole trip, a red beauty.

On the way home, I saw 18 HHR's, 9 of which were corporate, and only 3 panels.

Some friends flew into Green Bay from New Jersey, and drove up to Escanaba in a dark blue rental HHR.

How Often Do You See This?

HHR's, nose to tail in a shopping center?

Today, 12:25pm, LaVale Shopping Center. Of course, I was driving our HHR. 3 in one spot. Not something you see everyday, unless it's a g2g.

I met up with DJR on Saturday at Menards in Tipp City Ohio...brief meeting for parts delivery. We counted at least 6 or 7 in the parking lot while we stood there. All LS's or LT's (cept for his SS).

I see a white panel daily that is a Sherrif deputy's ride. It's all dolled up with reflective stickers...just can't get a good pic of it as it's dark when I pass it in the morning and I don't have a flash on the phone. Never there in the afternoon. I'll track it down one of these days :)

I guess I should have said "Not something you see everyday here in an area with a population of about 50K".
