HHR Perfhosedist Newbie pics

My HHR is a 2006 2.2 LT that I purchased almost 2 years ago from a Honda dealership. They had it for 6 months and needed to get it off their lot. It isn't exactly what I wanted but I have enjoyed it. I want to get a new SS but I'm thinking about doing some major work to this one. The first thing I'm going to do is get a manual transmission and another motor so I can start working on the turbo set-up. Until then I'm looking at getting the bumper covers for a new SS and fabricate a new tubular bumper to hold an intercooler as well. Maybe if I purchase a truck I can start going to the tracks with it then the HHR will be put on a diet. What I might do also is start looking of a good used Panel HHR to turn in to my race car. Just random thinking right now until business picks up so I can start spending some money.

Thanks! I have another grill but it's heavier than the stock one and if I plan on racing this HHR sometime soon; weight is always something you have to get off the car. As soon as I purchase another car or truck this HHR is going on a diet, starting with most of the interior parts.

Ill take those rear seats off your hands!!!!!!!!!!! You can have my storage box if you want also lol.

So what's this other grill you have? Is it a billet grill? Those seem like they would be heavy

Even if you go for a lighter grille, stay with black. It looks great on silver.

If this is the 2.2 L61, I found some info off of the Cobalt site:

"The supercharger and inlet manifold from the 2.0 Ecotec engine can be purchased as an official kit from GM and along with modified software in the ECM, can create a 2.2 supercharged version of this engine".
