Holiday time in Tonawanda ... (4 pictures)

All together now!

Dashing through the snow
In a four-Chevy open sleigh
Over the roads we go
The panel leads the way!

Horns in bowties blow
Making heads alight
What fun it is to drive
And chase PT's into the night

Ohhh ...
HHR, HHR
On the road all day
Oh what fun it is to scare
the Scions all away
Hey!

Okay, enough of this silliness. More pics in the Gallery, this is in front of GM Powertrain (wife's work).

Umm, where's the snow? How did Tonawonda manage to miss all that snow?

Glad to see that plant still making the best engines!!! My 396 big block was built there 40 years ago! Some legendary bowtie power has been created there over the years! Is the 2.0L ecotec built there too?

I think it's built at GM's Saturn plant in Spring Hill.

For the time being, the Captain's correct. However, Tonawanda should be getting the tooling sometime either this year or next to build ALL Ecotecs (2.2, 2.4 & 2.0 Turbo).
