Really nice dj and thanks for the details and lessons learned. Great stuff. I have yet to get up the nerve to try such stuff, but reading about folks who do may just eventually give me the kahoonas to try it.

Notice the mirrors are back on as well in nice red anodized chrome.



The start of the engine compartment. Just the covers for now:

The start of the interior. The plastic pieces were first sprayed with some metal flake basecoat and the same red anodizer was used over top that. Gives it a nice shiny glow. If I had to do it again I'd use some spray chrome instead I think and see how that looked. Notice the difference between the console and the trim ring around the shifter which is chrome. Not much difference, but subtle enough.
Also a shot of my Kenwood DPX701. The silver thing sticking out of it at the bottom right is a little 1G usb keychain deal for mp3's :)
