I know the bumper and the grill is needed, and besides paint, what else did you get to get it done?
Other than the bumper and grill, which is what I originally started out with, you will need the lower grill and foglights, and foglight inserts, the absorber [which looks just like a block of hard styrofoam], the lower shield, and the lower deflector.

I do not have the foglights yet, or the lower deflector. The foglights are hard to find used, and I'm sure gmpartsdirect has them but I haven't been able to find them! As for the lower deflector, I didn't want it because other people occasionally drive my car, and they do not know how to park a lowered car... and I wouldnt want my bumper to be torn off. The stock bumper as it is, is not lower than the SS one, the lowest part just extends out longer.

Hey Kevin,

We weren't baggin on the qaulity of pic's it was that something that nice might not last long if thats were it gets parked! Neighbors can be disrepectful or jealous of something that nice! We "REALLY" like the SS theme in Dark Gray Metallic as it looks like no one elses HHR !!!!!

I was confused for a minute, I was wondering when they made the SS in that color then I read through it all. Nice. :)

Looking good.

Oh its all good. I live at this complex here in college, and I hate just leaving it out there like that. It wouldn't have been a bad color choice for the SS! Thanks again!

Thanks, me too, but it looks incomplete to me still, so hopefully it will get better!

Yeah, I wish it would be the SS, I get asked whether it is because I debadged it. I did have a really good offer on a complete supercharged 2.0 from a cobalt, but unfortunately, I had to let it go!

I've been pretty happy with kicker. Although I am getting pickier about my sound options, this set up does the job. The box is what helps it out the most because it is completely sealed, and it covers the entire trunk compartment, all the way to the floor.

THANKS FOR THE COMMENTS!!

As far as being an SS replica it looks good. My only critique is to please, please, please get that box covered with something! That plain wood just doesn't look right and makes the cargo area look "cheap" to me. You said you're in college so I've no clue if $ is an issue; but even staining the wood in a dark color like cherrywood or a dark oak stain (even flat black would look better IMHO). You can of course try carpeting or even better, ultrasuede would make that back end look killer IMO. Otherwise, nice work.
