Davidjb: Thanks, I think so too! These are the “Ruby Red” LED tails. All the IPCW LED’s have a darker ring around the edges regardless of what color you choose it seems. It goes with my ‘simplistic’ or ‘sleeper’ theme.

Gas Man: Bro I thank you for your honesty. You hit the nail right on the head since I’m a huge fan of the “sleeper” type setup. (i.e. looks stock but at a closer look, it’s not) I love big rims and bling, but in my ride I prefer stealth and speed over all show no go. The only other mods I have planned are: black Hahn or Dejon IC piping, a set of rims later on, and I'm painting the waterfall a different color (NOT V.R., EVERYONE does that lol). That’s what makes our HHR’s so awesome to own; whether it’s a base LS, an LT1 or LT2, or our SS’ we can make them ours. Not all may approve, but in the end they make us happy to own, drive and enjoy with friends!

Yeah exactly Asanti. Some of my buds asked me why I didn't do my calipers in red or sway bar in red or yellow or something. I said, cause I wanted it subtle and classy. When I'm at the dealer and the salesman come outside and are all circled around my HHR. They know it's mine but they always look at it to see what I've done. They know what to look at, they see the changes. but to most people I'm sure they don't notice the bowties and SS logos blacked out. The stubby antenae, the blacked out headlights, etc. Why cause it's not in your face loud. I'm fine with that.

Heck for mine... I really want to black chrome my rims. I won't get pedders or lower mine anymore cause michigan roads suck, easy as that. I too want black IC piping, also not sure which brand.

I like allot of HHRs here but dislike just as many. Dislike for ME, but that's fine too, cause I think it just makes mine look better. LOL. It's all good in da hood. different strokes for different folks.

It's the Pioneer AVH 4200DVD. Many guys on here are using it. It's a great headunit so far w/ lots of features (7" touchscreen, plays dvd's, satellite radio ready, can do Bluetooth w/ an add-on, plays movies/music from a usb drive or an sd card too, etc etc). I've used only a handful of features so far (got it installed last Thursday) but I'm impressed so far.

Gas Man: We seem to think along the same lines as far as sublety goes. I did my calipers in black Precisely to NOT stick out and be like everyone else (red is such a popular caliper color lol). I added the gold Chevrolet lettering on the calipers specifically because I plan on getting gold OZ rims and that'll set it off perfectly IMO. My TTR sway is red BECAUSE it matches the body color and to the untrained eye looks like part of the factory suspension. The fact that the Pedders springs are red is icing on the cake for me.
