my new hhr - pics
Looks great from the outside!
However, when I approach a car that's waiting to pull into my path that has windows tinted as dark as yours, it makes me a little nervous because I can't see if the driver is looking my way and sees me coming. After looking at your 'through the windshield' pic I realize that it's probably a moot point, especially if they're over 40.

probably a little different than most of you have seen on here, but heres my tail lights
its a black nylon fabric over the stock lights. no glue or anything, just stretched over it really tight. light shines through better than any cover or lamin-x ive ever seen. holds up well, even in florida sun daily...after about 7 months or so it may start to fade (hard to tell until you compare it to new fabric) but its like 5 bux a yard, so even if i redo it 3 times a year its worth it to me. i like the contrast, its a flat finish. i have this on my MINI cooper as well. what do you guys think? its different for sure, and no one around has it. most people actually think its cool when they see it in person lol.
oh, i debadged the HHR and "flexfuel" emblems.

I like it.
Ive always liked the silver/black combo, even more on the new brighter silver colour.
So it is just held in by being pinched by the light against the body?
What kind of fabric is it, lycra or some kind of stretch nylon maybe?

yeah its a nylon lycra type thing, very stretchy anyway you pull it. the tighter its stretched the more the light will shine through. i may put a second layer on so its solid black, even with 2 layers the light still shines through better. ive never been stopped before becuase as soon as i hit the brakes the cop see's it lights up just fine
