My Ride went to the Dark Side
Hi folks, I'm new around these parts. Just upgraded to premium member and came to share some pics
We got our HHR last week. It was used with 8500 miles on it. Loaded Maroon 2LT. I Love so much about it, I cannot just find one outstanding feature, but so many in one package.
Outstanding Chevy! I have not felt this good about an auto since my early days driving Corvairs ( still have two )!
I almost ordered one in Sept, but got swayed into a Vibe for the winter.
Away it went last week, and here we are with our HHR
Anyway, we host an event at our store each year called Free Comic Book Day ( yes, I'm one of those ).
Decided to take the HHR and have some community fun with it:)

Hey, long time ago I used to live in Hartford and worked in New Britain. I still have a sister who lives in the area. Is that nearby?

Been doing Corvairs for twenty years now, so I do know some eccentric types!
New Britain is about an hour from here. I am basically on the border with Rhode Island. We have Mystic Seaport and The Groton Submarine Base as our main points of interest. Oh yeah, and those Indian Casinos. I live next to Foxwoods.
I'm still figuring out how to get pics and graphic into my posts. I am a photographer too, so this is important. Any hints folks? I think I'm just being stupid about something.

Come back to the post and click on the image below the left handed arrow...the one that looks like it has mountains on it.
A pop up box will appear and you can paste the url there and click ok.
Then to make sure the picture is there, click on preview post and you should see it in your post.
Hope this helps...I didn't really see any straight forward instructions, so I just figured it out myself..
. Two likes that I enjoy Star wars and HHR's. I'm very happy that you took a picture of Darth Vader with the HHR. That's going to be my new desktop picture..LOL. Welcome to the site
