New member's first mod...

I added chrome around the wheel wells, (saving up for the wheels to go in those wheel wells) and around the rear view mirrors.

Thanks for posting the picture (not sure what I did wrong).
I forgot to mention that I also added a chrome tail piece to the exhaust.

Welcome aboard, I love the color. My Focus was a dark gray. They called it "liquid gray". Sometimes I kinda wish I ordered that color instead of black. Don't get me wrong, I love my black HHR and it fits my theme great, it's just that the dark gray is much more forgiving to dirt, dust, and all around grimyness, and it shines up great.

Looks nice!
Welcome. I'm recent here as well, and having a great time. The folks here are great!
So many mods, so little time!

I received my Anti sway bar this week from SoCal and figure it will go on tomorrow!
Which Chrome trim did you use? Was it peel and stick with the 3M adhesive tape? I'm thinking of doing the same and I also want some sort of chrome to run the length of the running boards. I'm kind of old school and like chrome stem to stern!

Not a bad idea. Where did you get the materials and was it hard to do. Plus welcome to the site.
