Glad you like it. I am pleased with how the car as turned out. It runs good, gets good mileage, handles, corners and rides better than stock and is fun to drive. I think it looks better to. I am getting closer to complete.
My goal is to have a good looking car that gets the best performance and mileage possible with out making too many comprimizes.
The only mechanical mods I have left are Trifecta tune, 2.4 throttle body and underdrive pulley. May do a header not sure yet.

For remaining cosmetic mods I am going to paint the black front lower grill, grill and mirrors to match the car.

Underdrive pulley

On the underdrive pulleys I think they are a waste of money for the Ecotec motor. The water pump is direct drive (or internal chain)off crank and the fan is electric. So the only thing ran off of the crank pulleys is the alternator and air conditioning so the improvements would be very small. Also the underdrive pulleys do not have a harmonic balancer so it may hurt your motor long term.

If it was like the old style where the pulley bolts onto the front of the harmonic balancer and the belt runs the water pump, smog pump, alternator, air conditioner, fan and other accesories it would be a big improvement.

On the Ecotec not so much and not worth the risk IMHO.

Yeah i know about them helping other applications but didn't see how it would help our motor or how much it did in this case. Don't you have one?

No underdrive pulley

I do not have an underdrive pulley. I was going to but after doing research on it decided it would not be a good idea. This weekend I will do the 2.4 throttle body and Trifecta tune. Should be really nice.

Try to answer as many questions as possible

I am now a Trifecta Tune dealer. PM me for pricing.
My motor is the 2.2 and when I put the 2.4 intake I immediatly felt the improvement in performance. The exhaust helped a little to in performance, sound and mileage. It sounds really sweet and it is not very loud. I like it. Here is a really poor sound clip.

The car also has an Airiad intake filter system.

I will do the 2.4 throttle body and tune this weekend and that is when I expect it will all come together. So far before the tune my mileage has went from 21 in the city to 26 with mods. On the highway @ 70 MPH is up from 30 to 35. Now I am hoping for 2 more MPG in the city and 4 on the highway @ 70 MPH with the tune. To be realistic my car is the 2.2 and I do not expect it to outrun the 2.4 but I do expect it will run pretty close and get better mileage when I do not put my foot in it. I did not build it for a hot rod anyway but am pleased with the performance. If I can get 28 city / 39 highway @ 70 I will be very happy.

Solstice wheels I have seen as low as $250 for a brand new set of the silver not polished ones to more than $1000 with tires.

My car is coming together and it is working pretty good I think if I could only do one mod then it would be the Goldline lowering springs. That is the mod that made my care handle better, ride better and look better.
