i got a hold of dash z to see if they can make projectors. the need at least 250 pre sold sets before contacting the manufacturer for the housings. The price they never told me so idk how much something like this would cost.

Wow that's a big number. Dash z doesn't seem to carry anything for the HHR. Why am I looking at an ad for them on here?

you'll never get 250, that's for sure. It's hard enough to get like 30 or so for a group buy on a sway bar that is under $200...

i know they gotta look out in their best interest etc, but lets say they sold for $500, they're looking to pre-sell $125k of merchandise before they even contact the manufacturer, that's a lot.....

I think we could get 250 HHR owners wanting these.

Heck they make these things for minivans and not the HHR which has sold many cars and is very popular amongst the younger crowd over minivans.

I too wouldn't mind a set with a LED Strip that would light up like the Audi. So that and the halo could be the DRL.

Most likely the fact that "millions" of HHR's have been sold. A slight exaggeration I'm assuming.... As a side note, I've noticed that a hell of a lot of folks are now "flashing" me since I put the Silverstars in my F/E headlamps (yesss They're aimed properly!). I'd assume HID's would be ridiculously bright at stock height?

yeah, i got projectors installed with 6000k HIDs ( super bright white ), and have yet to get flashed. the projector's internal "shield" blocks light from shining up into on-coming traffic's eyes, plus the light pattern looks kinda cool too. making a set of your own projector headlights is pretty easy, and only cost about $400.

Bingo- everyone exaggerates here and there, but millions? The production numbers for 2008 were 99,176 total for all models/trims, and considering that the car has only had only had 5 production years... All in fun though, no hard feelings!

On the HIDs, there are a few threads on them, I have them on both heads and fogs (my pics are in my profile and a thread), and although they look ridiculous in my pics, they are actually reasonable (I have 35w kits) and I have yet to be flashed-
