Any pics out there of Imperial Blue or Black SS that's been debadged?

Just picked up a IBM ss and already picked off the chicklets.... I'm thinking all the SS and HHR badging needs to vanish... and the bowties need to get blacked out, except for a chrome border.

 

These are getting harder to find too.

 

TkHHR, Not many may know what that contraption is! But is that the Ebony color scheme?

 

Yes I believe ebony was the correct color for that machine. Amazingly enough I made a living fixing IBM Selectrics. Since that time I have filled many dumpsters with machines just like the one pictured.

 

I get my black/black 2009 SS on July 18th, will post pics on the 19th of it without them.

 

Did you order it with brembo brakes?

 

That funny looking satin black and grey contraption above.... is that a rat rod?

 

Not a Rat Rod but very old school

 

I applied at Ittey Bittey Machines in the mid '70s to fit those things above but got a hospital job.

 

Funny thing is the company I work for, who shall remain nameless, still uses those silly old contraptions on a daily basis
