PICS....V-Red SS w/winter tires & wheels

Two pictures here. One without hubcaps, one with. Two hubcaps do not line up with the cutout for the valve stems, but unless you look close you can't tell. No big deal, just have to take the cap off to put air in the tire.

If it were mine I think I'd leave the hubcaps off anyhow. Looks meaner.
Hubcaps on looks like a finished product.

JMO but not sure if you were looking for opinions or not.

Yeah, I know what you're saying, but if it's anyone that knows anything about the HHR SS, they know those are not the factory wheels. Unless they might think it's someone tryng to make a fake SS. I haven't fully decided yet.
Thanks for the opinion, keep em' coming!

You realize that the HHR SS is one of the auto industry's best kept secrets right, and not many people are going to know what it is supposed to look like.

The hubcaps make it look like a finished product and the uninformed will form an "uneducated" opinion. With no hubcaps it makes it look like a temporary (or in your area a winter time wheel) and the "uneducated" will withhold making the final judgements about our secret.

I know it sounds pretty petty but I always want "my stuff" to be seen in the most positive way. Can't help it - always have and always will.

I say caps on as it gives you that sleeper look of a retired teacher going to Bob Evans for coffee.

Caps off just look incomplete and like you could not afford the caps.

I say leave the hubcaps. I'm kinda digging the big treads in all of these winter tire pics. Idk why, but I dig it.

just got back from taking it for a spin......literally the hard tread of the firestone winterforce tires leaves a lot to be desired in the traction catagory when boost hits 23lbs (worse than stock tires), but i'm sure in snow they'll be great! The ride is nice, the noise isn't nearly as bad as some reviews i've read. Overall, i'm happy with these tires.
