I ALMOST got it. But, the outside "rim" is Black Chrome. And, I am very happy.

That was last year's SEMA car, from Godfather's custom, and yes it is pretty trick. Living in Atlanta, and working not to far from Godfather's, last year went there and was unable to get any help, interest, or anything concerning some of the things they did on the HHR. The in-store staff, knew nothing of the car. I had recently lowered my HHR and was trying to get it correctly, alligned and they fell through on that. They did say they could perform allignmnet, but allignment machine was down that afternoon, wanted to have me come back but could not tell when, etc. etc.. I found a compentant shop, that did the work, quickly and close to home.

What I don't understand, is these custom shops, doing some great mods, but not making it feasible to mod other HHR's or having the mods avialble (may be a timing thing, slow to market). I do understand it is publicity and they end up moving wheels, bolt on items and doing full custom radios and such to make money. To my knowledge, some of the main custom shops, Godfather's, Darkside, etc.. (that have made SEMA HHR's) are not supplying parts or mods for the HHR (other than Teazer). Yes, I know some fine suppliers are out there (SoCalHHR, Supporting Truck Guy, etc..) and we should see more soon.

Maybe some of the SEMA particpants, and vistors can shed some of the soon to be seen possiblities??

Last year Godfather had two artist prints of moded HHR's, one was the Woody, and the other was this one (which looksl like this year's Godfather SEMA HHR different color combo):

I just need to find their paint guy and still want the lower grill from the woody & picture above (let's not discuss over-heating or anything, for now).

Later,
Markiemark
