it's not that hard...the rear wheels don't even have to come off to do the springs...the fronts are a little harder but not that hard I would say about an hour and half to do the whole thing...

Any competent auto shop should be able to do it in 1 hour.
I took pictures and it only took 1-1/2 hours!

my hour and a half included taking a beer break...but it is really easy on the HHR...from what I understand it should be very similar to the Scion xB(which I did in under an hour)...the rears all u do is raise it up undo the bolt that attatches the strut to the axle and the spring just falls out..

You need to post some new shots SoCal. Your HHR is looking pretty bad a** now days. I noticed the billet grille.

Thanks for the compliment Howdy! you're right! I need to get over to the airport and take some new pics to update. The airport at 6am is nice and wide open, so I can park out on the apron and get good stuff. Hopefully soon!

Nice HHR Mike..I was going to get that color first..then decided orange..but ended up with Red ..The orange was a LS and the dealer I bought from had a 1LT in red with heated leather seats for less than the LS (managers special) so i went for the red one...LOL They were just pulling it out of the back and they didnt even have time to park it out front of the dealer before I said I'd take it. I dont regret it..even though it wasnt my first color choice , the red is pretty in the sunlight and its nice to have a toasty butt on cold mornings...LOL. I am doing mild custom stuff in diamond plate to match the rear bumper protector I got from you guys. Man..I LOVE THESE CARS.
