I have the same looking truck at my dads house. We put it on a 4X4 frame and put a 383 stroker in it. It's not done yet. Dad lives about 3 hours from me. I would of made a street rod out of it, but when we started the project I we into off roading. Sorry I don't have pics of it.

In the DFW area you see all kinds of great cars, new and old and at car shows

amazing to me how many there actually are here.
what is really bad is when you go to Plano West High School and you H1 and H2's, Saleens, a row of Vipers, several Vettes and many numerous other really nice cars in the parking lot and then you realize, these are 11th and 12th graders driving them.

and this is no BS post either. W Plano is very well to do.
even at my kids high school you would see Hummers and Vipers in the parking lot. Plano kids have suburbans and mercededs and beemers there as well

Thumbs up

2 weeks ago I went to a weekend rod run in Westport, wa., a coastal town. I got pic's of a 30'ish roadster with a 392 hemi, and ""HHR"" taillites. the pics are in the "members" gallery as I'm unable to put in thread at this time.

we also saw this ford Galaxy bagged with 2 sets of quad pipes and no hood on the way out of Humperdinks meeting TomsHHR the Deerkiller. Total restoration in process and the paint job was mint.

try seeing a small terrier riding on a piece of carpet on a Beemer gas tank.

this guy took his dog on 3 iron butt runs. that is 10,000 miles in 10 days hitting all 4 corners of the continental US

most of the beemer riders do over 15,000 in 10 days.
