Got bored. Drove a while. Took a pic. Turned out better than I thought it would!

yeah same Mt.. this was taken from Windy Vista where we took the group shot of drivers. Big pull out area. I walked out to the edge where the cliffs are. Gorgeous area to take pics... going up there around sunset next time!

Looks sweet, when I flew home from Phoenix I got a view similar to that on the plane.

I dont have the fancy lenses that some have but my little camera does some neat stuff. Wish I had more options though. Only thing I can find so far is adjusting the shutter speed, aperture (spelling), and color filters like b/w and sepia. Plus the book I got "Complete Idiot's Guide to Photography" helps too! It says in there that good photos are 10% camera 90% photographer. LOL! Wonder how true that is! But I'm trying some new things out. Wish there were lenses for my digital camera!

That's a great shot! Sometimes one great picture like that can make up for all those bads one we take. Thank goodness for digital cameras with instant results! I still miss all the great things you can do with manual SLRs. I just don't have the time to mess with them anymore.
