GM was too lazy to redesign the rear panels so they just stuck a closeout panel in where the rear windows used to be..

Hello

Custom job. Perhaps the guys wife said to "put windows in it". Seems like getting rear doors with windows at a salvage yard would have been easier.

My daughter said my HHR Panel was a death trap after she drove it the first time. She drives a Venture and she is used to having a 360 degree view. I use my mirrors to drive.

I think that window would have looked better in the back but the round porthole? in the back. I don't know?

Some one else on the forum said "We don't need no stinkin' windows".

Today I found this white panel and I don't believe I've ever seen this model before:

Is that a factory option or a custom job? Either way it caught my eye and thought I'd share it with the board.

Was in an O'Reilly store yesterday checking out the aisle with the interior trim pieces and didn't see anything like this, so I'm pretty sure it wasn't OEM if they don't stock it........

Perhaps it might be a door to an added port-o-let. Will have another look at the pics to see if it shows an exterior slide out on that corner. Suppose someone could have started a camper/van project with this.
