I like it...I just wonder about long term. I did my mirrors in plastidip over 6 months ago and it still looks great but I did my handles back in may and the lasted about 3 days before they started peeling.

Your best bet is do your homework on youtube on plasti dip. I just followed what the puzzleman (2nd link) said. I got 9 cans of dip and one gallon of xylean or vm&p at Home depot. $60 That gave me almost two gallons. You will need a Wagner paint gun $55 at Wallyworld and a paint mask. Xylean has crazy fumes!

I love this stuff I messed a bunch of times and its easy to fix and patch if need be. Pain in the ass dipping a car but well worth it.

I have Plasti-Dip stripes over the hood/roof/hatch. So far they are standing up to the elements really well. I also watched plenty of videos on YouTube. DipYourCar.com guy Fonzy has some good info.

I like the look but I have thought that it would be better to get a flat black vinyl wrap. The reason I say that is if in a few years you want to sell it or trade it in, who knows if they would take a flat black one or give you a lot less for it. With the wrap, you can easily peel it off and it is back to stock.
