I just did this on my f150 wheels, its pretty wild, no sanding just clean good and spray. DO at least three coats so there is enough coating to build a nice condom like thickness so it peels off in as few pieces as possible when your ready to change colors or return to original finish unharmed.
its fairly durable but dont use hi pressure washing if there is an open cut it will start peeling.
