Talking 06 hhr key fob programing

hey all, new here. Just purchased 06 yesterday, had never even thought about it, but loved it after the drive. Also my wife really loved it, I was looking at a 04 vw wagon. I lost and glad I did, saved moola.. I did not get key fobs and dealer was not chevy, the would not budge. I purchased new one, I found out how to program the remote lock, but not the remote start. Is there a way to do this, chevy shop wants 45 bucks for 10 min job. I paid 85 bucks for fob, while searching for program instructions, I found ebay fob for $16, ha ha. any info would be appreciated., . Thx lots of good info out here.

Thx..

Thanks for such a quick reply. I am going to pu the fob now, my wife has the car, I will have to try it when she gets home. So I understand, Once I have the remote locks programed, do you think the start button will also be recognized when I use the lock and hold start bttn 2 sec? again, thx.
