Changed out the thermostat

Changed out the thermostat and all seems to be working fine now. I got a Duralast part tho.. not AC Delco... hope that doesn’t cause any issues down the line. :/

Duralast part failed

Welp... my Duralast thermostat didn’t last even 20 miles before it crapped out. I didn’t not listen on purpose, I bought the part before reading the response. Looks like I’ll have to replace it again! Oh fun. Thanks for the advice!

And before you read the thread that you posted in. The proper thermostat was recommended by Oldblue more than 6 months ago, in this very same thread, the post immediately before yours.

I’m not an employee of AC Delco, I just advise on facts, I have tried Stant, MotoRad and Duralast, all failed and that was within a short period of time , I sprung for tge AC Delco and , problem solved for over 7 years now , no code.
I see members post about their issues with thermostat and their testimony as to the AC Delco thermostat fixed they issue.
