2006 2.2 Automatic P0340

I have the code P0340, I have checked a few threads here and what was recommended is replacing the coil packs and ignition module. Just wondering if this is the correct part https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/...tion+coil,7060 thank you

That does say it is the coil pack for a 2006 2.2L. I'm not sure I would go with the $17 one.

That is the most common reason, but there are others. Just a warning that it might not fix it.

Make sure all the connectors are in good condition and no broken/frayed wires.

Thank you, it was in the shop that my brother in law runs and they checked out quite a bit and recommended these parts. I ordered the NGK part.

P0340 or P0304??? P0340 refers to a problem with the Camshaft Position Sensor.

2006 does not use cam sensors. The position of the cam is calculated based on data from the ICM.
If you understand the way Harley-Davidson handles the spark, it is much the same. 2 plugs fire each cycle,

No, you're right Whopper. This is a valid question. The OP has been on site since you asked it, but did not answer.

Update: new coil pack, spark plugs and air filter installed. Drove it for a couple of days and no codes. Fast shipping from Rock Auto.
