Why are you replacing it?

The easiest way is to get a complete assembly, then it is a 5 bolt job Plus the 2 O2 sensors.

You get a new one for less than $200 on eBay.

Welcome to the site, you can cut and weld, but why? You still have to drop the pipe to finish welding and the cat alone isn’t much less then the whole pipe!

This is stainless steel , tube the cat is a Magnaflow, the bends are mandrel bent, the flanges are thick too

Are we sure it's stainless, I didn't see that on the write-up. (I could have missed it) The reason I'm asking is I need a full stainless catted downpipe for my 2.4 this year... I'm doing the whole system engine to tailpipe tip. Performance cat is something I would be interested in, but I need stainless.

AND... not meaning to steal your thread. Welcome to the forums jollymon.

Same item $45! Didn't go far enough to find out how much shipping or where they ship from. Seems like it's from same source.
