2009 hhr center console wiring diagram

I have a 2009 HHR LS panel
I am looking for a wiring harness diagram for the plugs that go into the HVAC control panel on the center console. I am trying to diagnose why the a/c will not kick on.

Everything else works does switch vents and temps and fan speed. Just not the a/c button. The system has freon.

to the forums!

After driving for at least 5 minutes, what is the digital coolant temperature on the dash (DIC)?

It remains average, the temp is not the issue. I need the diagram to trace where the issue is

Post #2. Don has links to the shop manuals.

RJ ask about the actual temp. Reason being. Certain CELs will disable the compressor. He was just wondering if maybe you had a pending code that had not lit up the CEL light yet.
P0128 is a coolant temp code that will disable the AC.

No error code for temp average temp is between 172 and 192 did a diagnostic scan with the OBD tool and found no error codes. Check the the manuals could not find the exact wiring harness that I needed for the temperature control relay to see if the issue is the clutch is not engaging or if it's a bad relay

Average temp doesn’t really mean anything. Actual temp. The car should heat up to 185-190 in a short period. Then the thermostat opens. Mine used to take about 5 minutes and 2 miles on a cold startup. The temp should not go below 180 after warmup.
Have you hooked up AC gauges and checked the Freon charge ? Jumped the compressor to ensure it still engages ?

I did hook up gauges and has freon, no I don't have the tools to jump the compressor. I don't know which wire I need to jump, trying to troubleshoot if the issue is the a/c button, relay or compressor before I take it in for service

A volt meter or test light. Then a short piece of wire to jump the pressure switch. If you don’t have the tools I don’t see how you were going to check relays and such.
Best to take it to a pro.
