It could be as simple as one of the oxygon sensors. But further diagnosis would need to be done. I would clear the code and see if it or possibly a different code sets. The description for this code is rather complex for any novice mechanic.

P013A
• The ECM detects that the exponentially weighted moving average (EWMA) of the normalized integral value equals 8.4 integral units.
OR
• The ECM detects that the accumulated mass air flow monitored during rich-to-lean transitions between 450–150 mV is more than 28 grams.

Also; Welcome to the forum!

Welcome to the site, oneokie1. Chevy MGR sure has a way with words ? He is right sounds complicated. I'd try that to see what else it might say. Good luck finding the culprit.

The code description is a copy and paste. I only use exponentially when I am speaking of the reduction in my brain cells due to aging.

There is no code "P013."

Fault codes are five characters, one letter and four digits.

Please post the correct fault code and maybe we can help.

It's P013A and if ChevyMgr says it a good code, I'd go with that.
