2011 hhr LS front end kit???
2011 hhr LS front end kit???
New here, I need to replace my front lower control arm&ball joints on both sides… where can I find the best KIT to replace everything at once that won’t kill my bank? I obviously know it won’t be cheap lol
Welcome to the site, LCA’s are available through RockAuto, and ZZP I suggest Moog , or replace just the rear bushings and ball joints.

Just remember if you buy complete lower control arms that you need the aluminum ones. Many parts listings will show steel arms as correct replacements. The steel ones are not correct for the HHR.
Also your car being a base LS will have the FE1 suspension package. Get your parts listed for that.

I looked at eBay, RA and other sites. No kits, I suggest you get LCA’s, swaybar end links, swaybar bushings left and right strut assemblies, that will cover everything that wears out in the front end.
The FE1 suspension from the factory is rolled into the FE3 parts available now. If you wish I can post a parts list for you, but I think you should explain the issues your HHR has and we can determine exactly which parts you need, and not load the parts cannon up. This will save you time and money.
over the years I’ve chased down rattling clunking and irritating noises, sometimes the issue wasn’t what I had thought .

I went to get one of my tires replaced the other day and basically the mechanic said that my LCA seem like they got two weeks left of operating and my tire may just fly off from what he says wiggles like loose tooth when it’s in park. It’s my front driver side and I just don’t want to be in the middle of taking it all apart and realize that I need way more.
It is possible to replace just the bushings in your aluminum control arms….you just have to take your time and dont loose your cool. And it is a lot cheaper. I can tell you how I did it 100,000 miles ago…didnt even have to use a press
I see now that you are a woman….you might not want to do that job yourself or have tools

Gender has nothing to do with ability.
