2011 LT intermittent door chimes after key removal.

Yay, I'm back. So the turn signal switch had stopped returning after a turn. I looked it up here, and the replacement looked easy enough. Bought the part then followed the steps to remove the steering column cover. Removed old stalk/switch. Installed new one. Everything tests good. Reverse steps to put everything back together.
And now about 30% of the time, my door will chime even if the key has been removed. It will stop if you tap/whack the plastic around the keyhole. So I figured I just didn't get the two pieces back together exactly right. Today I took it apart again, and noticed that the inner plastic around the keyhole was moving. Not quite falling off, but not secured either. Is that right? I tried to manipulate it into a position where it might lock in place, but to no avail. I reinstalled the steering column cover again, and started/stopped/removed the key/opened the door several times. I thought it was fixed, but on the sixth time it chimed again.

Ugh.

That is the TheftDeterrentModule; it should not move. It is what senses the chip in the key.

Okay, here is a video of how t is jiggling. Any ideas on why it is moving or how to stabilize it?
Thanks

Sigh. I have removed the steering column cover again and I cannot figure out how to get it to clip into place. Nothing grabs. Anytime I think it is solid, it moves again when I reattach the cover. I guess I will take ti to the dealership and negate any savings from replacing the turn signal switch myself.

That was not at all helpful. I have already replaced the turn signal switch. Maybe if I had seen that video first, I wouldn't have removed the entire lower half of the steering column cover and wouldn't have mesed up the theft deterrent module. But that's water under the bridge.
