5 speed rolls away............

5 speed here...no problems...but I always put on the emergency brake even if it's parked on a flat surface. Force of habit, as last several vehicles were stick shifts as well...and I didn't trust their e-brake to hold.

i checked all the gears, ive had stick shifts 10 years never seen one do this. the slightest incline will make it roll. i noticed after comming out of the gas station the other night that the car had moved. so i found a hill and played with it the higher the grade the faster it will roll with the engine trying to turn over. i dont know what to think of this, weak clutch mabey? it (the cltch) isnt slipping any when i drive?

CROWBAR..
Haven't checked that yet, but, my driveway is about 65foot worth of 20* slope. The only thing I've EVER noticed with ANY of my MTX's is that it slides (literally) down the drive in the winter!!!
I've woke on more than one occasion to find my Mustang in the woman (across the street) front yard!
To answer your question, though - never happened to me... I typically always use the e-brake when parking (and put it in 1st). I'll try tomorrow and repost results. The could end up being as much fun as watching paint dry...
